Oath Houses are sects of communities likewise to that of the Mafia and brotherhoods. They are something that you are not born into but swear to, as it's titular Oath Houses. This is a very Yonkapas-centric ideology.
Inside of a city, there are generally seven or eight Oath Houses. Some only have as few as three, others can have into the teens.
These Houses, though are sworn to, are not political parties or have any sway in the government. They are simply gatherings of people, with an elder at the head, The Watching-Father, much like a Godfather, and everyone in the House looks out for one another. The Houses unite peope under a common 'House' name, which unites them.
As the time neared into the Modernization Era, the amount of these Houses decreased tenfold. Here are lists of some of those Houses that survived.
